I had to write review on Frenchy's Rock-A-Way Grill right on the white wavy sands of Clearwater Beach, Florida (Fl.) of Pinellas County. My absolute favorite restaurant on Clearwater Beach to eat and listen to music.
I guess I will just start with, well, it's Clearwater Beach! The sunsets, the breeze and yes, the ladies (well, guys too if you're a woman reading this or a guy who prefers guys). Clearwater Beach with its booming real estate market, new look (construction won't be completely finished until 2008 but already is looking great) and being a tourism hot spot makes it a perfect beach front city to buy a condo or home at, bring the family for vacation, vacation for spring break, or go for lunch or dinner if you already live near by.
Regardless of how you make it to Clearwater Beach, you have to check out Frenchy's. The food just rocks which is really the icing on the cake. Now, I'm not much of a seafood eater but get the buffalo shrimp while you're there or the Grouper nuggets. If you're more of a land eater like myself, you got to try the buffalo chicken sandwich or the Jamaican Jerk steak.
Oh and here's another tip; if you have ever asked for a green appletini before and it never really tastes right or if you like red appletini's, ask for a green appletini (if you're of age of course). Now, I don't know how the bartenders there make it or if my girlfriend and I are just lucky in getting the same person making the drink, but it tastes exactly like granny smith apples. Almost everywhere else we have had that drink made for us they taste far too sour and well, like medicine or something. Anyways, you're more likely to get the drink I'm talking about if you go there for dinner. We've never asked for one at lunch.
Most days of the week as well, Frenchy's has live music at night if you prefer to just go out, listen to some good music and have some drinks before taking your girl for a walk on one of the US's most popular beaches.
